Erasmus+ is the EU program for education, training, youth and sport and I was lucky to receive this scholarship and have the opportunity to spend five days (from April 3-7,2017) as a fellow at ARTIS-Instituto de História da Arte (Universidade de Lisboa: ULISBOA).

During my stay, I made contacts with professors, researchers and colleagues. At the suggestion of ARTIS Institute, I gave a lecture to graduate students entitled "What is Islamic Art?". Thanks to the fact I made the schedule and planned everything before the trip, I had enough time to research in the library of Faculdade de Letras, visit Gulbenkian Museum and The Ismaili Centre. With the help of colleagues from ARTIS Institute I also visited landmarks and monuments of Lisboa (Belém Tower, São Jorge Castle, Lisbon Baixa, Praça do Comércio, Padrão dos Descobrimentos, ...).

The Erasmus+ Mobility Program had the large impact on me, I met colleagues who became my friends, enriched my teaching practices and exchanged educational experience, and most important I learned new tendencies in art history.

Obrigado Lisboa
